Our volunteers are the heartbeat of Raphe Adultcare Centre. They come from all walks of life, united by a shared commitment to making a difference in the lives of older adults and individuals with special care needs.
This month, we want to shine a light on some of the incredible people who dedicate their time, skills, and compassion to our cause.
Sarah, a retired nurse, spends three mornings a week visiting our beneficiaries. "It gives me purpose," she says. "Seeing a smile on someone's face when I walk through the door — that's everything."
James, a university student, helps coordinate our weekend activities program. "I started volunteering for my CV," he admits, "but I stayed because these people became my family."
